White Eagle Media was founded in 2003 in Boston by two young community activists and entrepreneurs Darek Barcikowski and Marcin Bolec who launched the White Eagle as the only Polish language newspaper serving the close to 350,000 Polish Americans in Massachusetts.
The free biweekly featured local and national news as well as in depth coverage of events within local Polish communities. As demand and interest in the publication grew, its circulation and reach spread to neighboring states quickly establishing the White Eagle as a premier news outlet serving Polish American communities not only in New England, but coast to coast.
Today, the White Eagle is the largest Polish language newspaper outside of Poland based on per-issue circulation and is distributed at almost 500 outlets in 15 states delivering its readers a winning combination of international, national and local coverage supplemented by community resources such as classifieds and calendar listings.
In print and online.
The White Eagle is published in local print and online editions which allows for unprecedented market penetration across varied demographics. Our online audience is further engaged by a strong social media presence which utilizes widely used platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Flickr or YouTube.
Growth and change.
But while White Eagle Media has grown and changed over the last 11 years to adopt to a changing media landscape, one thing remained constant – our commitment to our mission of delivering the highest quality reporting to our readers and the highest return on marketing dollars spent by our advertisers.
